The GCF group is conscious of its responsibilities and ever-vigilant that its growth must respect the individual and protect the environment. We want to help today’s generation satisfy their needs without jeopardizing the capacity of future generations to satisfy theirs.
We continually endeavour to further this policy by focusing on initiatives concerning the three pillars of sustainable development: economic, social and environmental.

The GCF group is a major consumer of water for the purposes of cleaning and rinsing its bottles. To reduce this consumption, we constantly educate our employees on how to cut back on this natural resource and in 2003 we built a water purification plant at each J.P. Chenet production site to process this water. One of our objectives in 2009 is to formalize this commitment.
To act as upstream as possible, we seek to work with responsible suppliers.
For instance, concerning the cardboard boxes that protect J.P. Chenet bottles, for many years we have worked with a packager that has adopted a sustainable development approach since the company was started. They own production facilities beside each of our own production sites and only propose recycled and recyclable packaging.
