1984
1985
- JP Chenet is initially produced in two varietal versions:
Cabernet Sauvignon Vin de Pays d’Oc and Blanc de Blancs Vin de Pays des Côtes de Gascogne.
1987
- Bolstered by its immediate success, the range is extended with a sweet white, Vin de Pays des Côtes de Thau, and a rosé Cinsault, Vin de Pays d’Oc.
1991
- J.P. Chenet’s boldness is congratulated when the brand wins the Oscar de l’Emballage, and the Verre Avenir Award.
1992
- Brand sales top 400,000 9-litre cases.
1994
- To meet consumption habits in different countries, the brand produces other formats: the 25cl-bottle is launched.

1996
- J.P. Chenet reinforces its image from the perspective of quality by adding two more high-end products to its range, both barrel-matured: a Merlot-Cabernet and a Chardonnay.
2000
- Launch of the 3-litre Bag In Box.
2004
- Brand sales top 7.4 million 9-litre cases.
J.P. Chenet launches a range of sparkling wines in 750ml and 200ml volumes.
2005
- To keep up with the changing market, the brand revamps its packaging for its 750ml and 250ml ranges.
Across the wine range, the Joséphine bottle is stamped with an eye-catching effigy of the brand.
2008
- As trend-aware as ever, the packaging is revamped across the range.
Advertising operation launched in France.
