J.P. Chenet wines are made exclusively from grapes produced and vinified by our partner producers.
Because of the quality of fruit and diversity they offer, grapes come from two main regions:
Languedoc :The world’s largest wine-growing region, the Languedoc offers a wide variety of climates and landscapes.
It produces wines of exceptional richness.
Gascogne :Located between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees, the Gascogne enjoys an ideal climate for the production of aromatic grapes.
The wines produced here are fresh and appealing.
Each parcel is identified by our partner wineries and monitored from the grape harvests right through to when the wine is brought to market. Traceability is thus perfectly assured.
For each type of wine that enters our blends, we work in close collaboration with the wine growers to define a profile. Only grapes that match these profiles are picked. We attach particular importance to gathering ripe fruit, which gives us the fruitiness we are looking for in our wines.
Once the grapes are vinified, the wine is analyzed and tasted to assess the quality.
CF's involvement allows the wineries to make long-term investments and in doing so guarantee yet higher levels of quality.
A virtuous circle that benefits everybody.
